Basketball Recap: Morrison Takes a Loss

Morrison lost against Mendota back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 68-23.

Brayden Rubright was Morrison's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mendota, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Morrison will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Wethersfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mendota, they will welcome Kaneland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
