Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

The Edison Wildcats came up short against the United Golden Eagles on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9.

Graclynn Dray paced Edison's offense, picking up four kills. Dray got some help from Sophia Henderson and her five assists.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for United, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Edison has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against East Liverpool on the 9th. As for United, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Newton Falls on the 16th.
