Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-9.

Leading Cle Elum-Roslyn to victory were Sofia Nicholson and Sydney Brown. Nicholson had ten assists and three aces, while Brown had 20 digs and two aces. Those three aces gave Nicholson a new career-high.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Highland will face off against rival Kittitas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cle Elum-Roslyn is set to challenge their familiar foe White Swan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
