Baseball Recap: Faith Christian Find Success

Faith Christian got themselves on the board against Rocky Mount Academy on Friday, but Rocky Mount Academy never followed suit. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 2-0. The two-run effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Ayden Tyndall, who gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks to keep Rocky Mount Academy off the board. That's the most strikeouts Tyndall has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Faith Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Lascallette, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Faith Christian's record now sits at 10-3. As for Rocky Mount Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.
