Basketball Recap: George West Comes Up Short

George West lost against Rockport-Fulton last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The George West Longhorns took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockport-Fulton Pirates.

George West has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Rockport-Fulton, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George West will be home for the holidays to greet Taft at 6:15 p.m. on December 20th. Rockport-Fulton will take on Carroll in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
