Basketball Recap: Shanley Comes Up Short

Shanley lost against Fargo South back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shanley Deacons took a blow against the Fargo South Bruins, falling 71-37. The defeat leaves the Deacons without a win on the season.

Shanley's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Fargo South, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shanley will challenge Sheyenne at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th. As for Fargo South, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fargo Davies at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fargo Davies knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Fargo South likes a good challenge.
