Recap: Hamilton Braves vs. Williams Yellowjackets

The Hamilton Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Williams 55-49. Hamilton has not had much luck with Williams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kayden Strong. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. Strong is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Caden Stickney was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists and two steals.

Diego Ambriz was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 32 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyden Bowen, who scored 13 points.

Hamilton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Williams, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Los Molinos at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Los Molinos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. As for Williams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against CORE Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
