Basketball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was the 58-52 winner over Longview when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Scots were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 54-53 to the Lobos. The Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland Park now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Longview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Highland Park will welcome Grand Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Longview, they will take on Pine Tree at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
