Basketball Game Preview: Livermore Cowboys vs. Branson Bulls

The Livermore Cowboys will challenge the Branson Bulls at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Livermore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Livermore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against San Marin by a score of 71-61.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Branson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Freedom 64-42 on Tuesday. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Falcons are ranked 429th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Branson pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Livermore, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.
