Volleyball Recap: Olympia Bears vs. Curtis Vikings
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympia can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Curtis Vikings on Saturday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Elaina Duong was nothing short of spectacular for Curtis: she had 27 digs and five assists. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Kinley, who had ten digs.
Olympia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Curtis, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
Coming up, Olympia will be playing at home against Skyline at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Curtis, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Camas on the 15th.
