Minneota faced Champlin Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Minneota's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Champlin Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Minneota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against New Prague on the 11th. As for Champlin Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Prior Lake on the 11th.
