Basketball Game Preview: Green Bobcats vs. Western Indians

Green and Western are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Green, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Green humbled Manchester with a 59-29 victory. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Abbie Knapp went supernova, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 22 rebounds. The matchup was her 25th in a row with at least 16 points. Elizabeth McBee was another key player, putting up 17 points along with six boards and five assists.

Green smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Western had to suffer through a 96-4 loss at the hands of Paint Valley.

Green now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Green against Western in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 47-10 victory. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
