Recap: Eldorado Sundevils vs. Valley Vikings
The Eldorado Sundevils lost against the Valley Vikings back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eldorado was dealt a 53-13 loss at the hands of Valley. Eldorado has not had much luck with Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Eldorado got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Yasmine Wheeler and
Elisa Flores, who each put up three points.
Valley had a senior duo take command as Sharoni Black scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and Destiny Haliburton dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Laneice Rodgers, who scored 7 points.
Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Eldorado will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. As for Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Amplus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Amplus Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Friday.
