Bishop Manogue and Coronado squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bishop Manogue had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Miners' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Bishop Manogue couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 30-28, 16-25, 25-12.

Bishop Manogue's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Coronado, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-10 record this season.

Bishop Manogue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coronado, they will challenge Bishop Gorman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
