Football Recap: Hardaway Takes a Loss

Hardaway fell victim to Sumter County and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 63-0. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sumter County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ishmael Jones led the charge by throwing for 71 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Quay'Shaun Tatum helped Jones out on the ground, rushing for 68 yards and one score.

Hardaway's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Sumter County, their record now sits at 8-1.
