Meanwhile, Martha's Vineyard Regional fell victim to Falmouth and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers.

Martha's Vineyard Regional's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-3. As for Nantucket, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Nantucket skirted past Martha's Vineyard Regional 1-0 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Whalers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vineyarders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
