Volleyball Recap: DeForest Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middleton, DeForest was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was DeForest's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-15.

DeForest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Fort Atkinson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

DeForest will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madison Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Fort Atkinson, they will challenge Tournament Team at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
