Football Game Preview: Chesapeake Cougars vs. St. Charles + How To Watch

The Chesapeake Cougars will take on St. Charles on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Chesapeake 12.4, St. Charles 11.7) so any points scored will be well earned.

Chesapeake is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 41-20 margin over Southern on Thursday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.

Meanwhile, St. Charles entered their matchup against North Point on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. St. Charles took a hard 21-7 fall against North Point. The game marked St. Charles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chesapeake's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for St. Charles, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.

Chesapeake ended up a good deal behind St. Charles in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, losing 28-14. Thankfully for the Cougars, Ahmad Griffith (who rushed for 165 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
