Basketball Recap: Coral Reef Starts off Right with Win over Miami Beach

Coral Reef had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 55-47 win over the Miami Beach Hi-Tides. The Barracudas haven't had any issues with the Hi-Tides recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Isaiah Charlot went supernova, going 10-for-17 en route to 32 points and six rebounds. What's more, he posted four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Deandrick Cruise was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Several Hi-Tides players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonah Bernstein, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Tobin, who earned 15 points.

Coral Reef didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-55 win against Dr. Krop on the 20th. As for Miami Beach, they have also already played their next matchup, a 72-46 loss against Miami on the 20th.
