Baseball Recap: Scotts Hill Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Scotts Hill's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Chester County Eagles on Friday. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Scotts Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cy Maness, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Scotts Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chester County, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Scotts Hill will welcome South Gibson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chester County, they will challenge McKenzie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
