Eaglecrest is 6-1 against Vista PEAK Prep since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Eaglecrest will venture away from home to face off against Vista PEAK Prep at 11:00 a.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Eaglecrest came up short against Prairie View on Thursday, falling 8-1. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eaglecrest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Franks, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Leandro Jimenez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep lost 17-1 to Arvada West on Wednesday.

Eaglecrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Eaglecrest's way against Vista PEAK Prep in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Eaglecrest made off with a 13-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eaglecrest since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
