Football Game Preview: Pierce City Eagles vs. Stockton/Sheldon

The Pierce City Eagles will head out on the road to face off against Stockton/Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pierce City has given up an average of 30.9 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Pierce City came up short against Miller and fell 34-21.

Meanwhile, Stockton/Sheldon entered their tilt with Skyline on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Tigers 42-26.

Pierce City's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Stockton/Sheldon, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Pierce City beat Stockton/Sheldon 22-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
