Volleyball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Eagles vs. Forest Hills Rangers
Bald Eagle Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Forest Hills Rangers by a score of 2-1. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Forest Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Colosimo, who had six kills and six digs. Colosimo is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Chunta, who had 17 assists.
Bald Eagle Area now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Forest Hills, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.
Bald Eagle Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win vs. West Branch on the 14th. As for Forest Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Johnstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
