Ignacio is 9-1 against Dolores since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats will square off against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Ignacio sitting on eight straight victories and Dolores on 11.

Ignacio will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Dove Creek, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bobcats blew past the Bulldogs 3-0 on Saturday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ignacio was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-9.

Sanford typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Dolores proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs.

Dolores had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Ignacio's record now sits at 18-3. As for Dolores, their record is now 21-1.

Ignacio beat Dolores 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
