Basketball Game Preview: Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats vs. Laney Wildcats

Westminster Schools of Augusta will challenge Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westminster Schools of Augusta will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Westminster Schools of Augusta not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 1st (when they won 84-63). Everything went their way against Andrew Jackson Academy as they made off with a 52-32 victory.

Westminster Schools of Augusta got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Barrett out in front who posted 20 points and six boards. Tyler Hornsby was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laney). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 victory over Lakeside on Saturday.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Laney, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
