Basketball Recap: Champion Takes a Loss

Champion came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Chippewa Chipps 60-7. The contest marked the Golden Flashes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Champion has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Chippewa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

As of now, neither Champion nor Chippewa have any future games scheduled.
