Basketball Game Preview: Rosehill Christian Eagles vs. Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions

The Rosehill Christian Eagles will head out to face off against the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Prep Christian Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rosehill Christian, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Rosehill Christian managed a 62-56 victory over Brazos Christian. The game was the first time Rosehill Christian has beaten Brazos Christian on their court since February 4, 2022.

Meanwhile, Legacy Prep Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 76-36 loss at the hands of St. Thomas Episcopal. The Lions were down 51-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Rosehill Christian will need to focus on slowing down Tyler Simpson, one of several Legacy Prep Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Warren Pekar, who scored eight points.

The win got Rosehill Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Rosehill Christian was dealt a bruising 55-28 defeat at the hands of Legacy Prep Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
