Baseball Recap: Robinson Wins Going Away Against Zephyrhills

Robinson had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Zephyrhills Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 win. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Samuel Hyman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he also racked up zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Tyson Boyd was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Collin Rosenberg was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing one base while going 2-for-4.

Robinson will challenge Riverview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zephyrhills, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Hillsborough at 5:30 p.m. Zephyrhills comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
