Volleyball Recap: Tuslaw Takes a Loss

Tuslaw lost against Lake Catholic back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-10.

Kamdyn Dibell paced Tuslaw's offense, picking up five kills. Dibell got some help from Lillian Orr and her seven assists. Finally, Dibell was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Ava Starr was a one-woman wrecking crew For Lake Catholic. as she had six digs and four aces. Starr is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 19 every time she's taken the court this season. Lola Loncar was another key player, getting 14 digs and five aces.

Tuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Lake Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Tuslaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Catholic, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Norwayne on the 23rd.
