With a playoff win on the line, St. Andrew's Episcopal rose to the challenge on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Raleigh Lions 4-2. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Pierce Ingram spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, St. Andrew's Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Perry, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Perry has hit this season. John William Walker was another, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

St. Andrew's Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Raleigh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-6.

As of now, neither St. Andrew's Episcopal nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
