Ann Sobrato's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Leigh on Tuesday. The Bulldogs won by a run and slipped past the Santa Teresa Saints 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 26, 2024.

Amber Rodriguez and Sam Zimmerman made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Rodriguez didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Zimmerman pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Rodriguez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Zimmerman went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Nava, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Bouton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
