Volleyball Game Preview: Laurel Locomotives vs. Billings Central Catholic Rams + How To Watch

Laurel is 0-8-1 against Billings Central Catholic since October of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

On Friday, Laurel made easy work of Park and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Locomotives in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won three in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Laurel was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Bailey Bequette, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

Bequette wasn't the only good servers: Laurel was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Billings Central Catholic got the win against Park on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Laurel's record is now 5-6-1. As for Billings Central Catholic, their record now sits at 17-0.

Laurel suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Billings Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Locomotives avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
