If Bellevue was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Upper Sandusky last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redmen came up short against the Oak Harbor Rockets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Redmen's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Bellevue was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Oak Harbor's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Finley Lapata paced Bellevue's offense, picking up six kills. Lapata got some help from Ellie Freitag and her ten assists. Freitag also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Katherine Baptista, each putting up two.

Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Oak Harbor, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

Bellevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Harbor, they will challenge Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
