Football Recap: Grand Blanc Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Micah Kemp and Jake Morrow + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grand Blanc can now relate to. They lost 44-22 to the Clarkston Wolves on Friday. The Bobcats gained 88 more yards on the day, but it was the Wolves that made the best use of them.

Grand Blanc's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jake Morrow, who threw for 355 yards and a pair of TDs, and Micah Kemp, who picked up 153 receiving yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of Morrow's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) also went to Caseton Sendry.

Hank Hornung went supernova For Clarkston., rushing for 101 yards and one score, while also picking up 101 receiving yards and one TD. Those 101 receiving yards gave Hornung a new career-high. Griffin Boman was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Grand Blanc's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Clarkston, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Grand Blanc does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clarkston, they will face off against Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them.
