Recap: Bucklin Red Aces vs. Ingalls Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, the Bucklin Red Aces gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They put the hurt on Ingalls with a sharp 54-33 win. Winning may never get old, but Bucklin sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bucklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emmerson Kirk, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Sydnie Jones was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.

Despite the defeat, Ingalls saw an underclassman step up: Olivia Stein dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Stein is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Bucklin pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Ingalls, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Bucklin will square off against Spearville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Spearville is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. Ingalls on the road again on Thursday and play against South Central at 4:45 p.m. on January 25th.
