Baseball Preview: Woodland Wolves vs. Mesa Verde Mavericks

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mesa Verde's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 11-2 to Valley Christian. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Mesa Verde couldn't push the score so high this time.

Mesa Verde saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Marcheschi, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Woodland's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Mesa Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-18.
