Soccer Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette lost against Madison back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Golden Knights, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, Lafayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while Madison are ranked 114th).

Lafayette has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Madison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

As of now, neither Lafayette nor the Golden Knights have any future games scheduled.
