Volleyball Recap: Christian Fellowship Takes a Loss

After flying high against Prairie Home on Tuesday, Christian Fellowship came back down to earth. Christian Fellowship came up short against the Calvary Lutheran Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. Christian Fellowship hasn't had much luck with Calvary Lutheran recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Christian Fellowship lost, don't look at Kaylee Garner. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist. Garner has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Among those leading the charge was Teagan Foley, who had three digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 18 assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Christian Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Calvary Lutheran, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-9-2 record.

Christian Fellowship does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calvary Lutheran, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Columbia Independent on the 24th.
