Davie County came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Mooresville, but Reagan Young wouldn't allow it. The Blue Devils came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Young, who had 22 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Davie County lost, don't look at Ella Shea. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and one assist. Brittyn Carrier also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Mooresville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Davie County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Mooresville has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Statesville on the 9th. As for Davie County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lake Norman on the 9th.
