Volleyball Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

Greenfield lost against Cedarburg back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hustlin' Hawks fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Hustlin' Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Brayden Noe paced Greenfield's offense, picking up five kills. Noe got some help from Romario Ortega and his eight assists. Finally, Ortega was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cedarburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Greenfield and Cedarburg will both be playing Sun Prairie United the next time they take the court. The Hustlin' Hawks will head out to face Sun Prairie United at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
