Last Friday, Rehobeth had to suffer through a 49-18 loss at the hands of Wetumpka. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cottonwood strolled past Samson with points to spare last Thursday, taking the game 40-22. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Rehobeth better keep an eye on Ethan Simmons. He was instrumental in Cottonwood's win, rushing for 89 yards and one score on only eight carries, while also throwing for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes. Another player making a difference was Louis Scales, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries.

Cottonwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 225 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
