Soccer Game Preview: Bay vs. Beachwood

The Bay Rockets will take on the Beachwood Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bay has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 23 goals over their last three matches.

Bay's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Triway 8-0. Considering Bay have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Beachwood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Norwayne on Thursday. Beachwood's winning goal came courtesy of Daniel Park.

Bay is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine contests. As for Beachwood, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-2.
