Soccer Game Preview: Cardinal Gibbons vs. Cooper City + How To Watch

The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs will face off against the Cooper City Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cardinal Gibbons managed to slip by Archbishop McCarthy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chiefs lost 5-1 to the Mavericks on Wednesday. The loss put an end to Cardinal Gibbons' undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Brody Boerstler, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Cooper City was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Coral Glades, falling 4-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cardinal Gibbons fell to 1-1-1. As for Cooper City, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Cardinal Gibbons was able to grind out a solid victory over Cooper City in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Cowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
