Football Game Preview: Paul VI Panthers vs. Loudoun Sports Academy Timberwolves

The Paul VI Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Loudoun Sports Academy Timberwolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Paul VI came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 48-14 defeat at the hands of St. Mary's Ryken. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Although Paul VI took the loss, they still got scores from Hudson Akin and Keyon Johnson.

Meanwhile, Loudoun Sports Academy beat Varsity Opponent 22-14 last Friday.

Loudoun Sports Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for Paul VI, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
