Soccer Game Preview: Enochs vs. Escalon

The Enochs Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Escalon Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Enochs will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Enochs will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Manteca two weeks ago. Everything went Enochs' way against Manteca as Enochs made off with a 5-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Manteca with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaytlynn Nice (3), Julianna Ortiz, and Anna Herbst.

Meanwhile, Escalon has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 26. They and Rio Linda finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Enochs pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matches. Escalon's draw makes their record 2-3-4 this season.
