Basketball Recap: Cape Fear Colts vs. Clinton Dark Horses
Cape Fear's last matchup with Clinton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Monday. The Colts took a blow against the Dark Horses, falling 75-32. The Colts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.
Emily Harris was Cape Fear's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Mallorie Britt held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clinton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rubi Davila, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 21 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Ciara Stuart, who posted 18 points and three steals.
