Meanwhile, North Putnam strolled past South Putnam with points to spare, taking the game 20-2.
North Putnam's win lifted them to 3-0 while Sullivan's loss dropped them down to 2-1. In their win, North Putnam relied heavily on senior Evan Davies, who rushed for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns; a key strategy for Sullivan will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
