Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horizon Christian Academy). They claimed a resounding 86-53 win over the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Cannon, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. The game was Cannon's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Trent Witte, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

The victory was the third in a row for Horizon Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Horizon Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Pope at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
