Baseball Recap: Mills Has No Trouble Against Aragon

Mills hadn't done well against Aragon recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings came out on top against the Dons by a score of 5-1. The match marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Nick Lafon and Jayden Chan did most of the damage at the plate: Lafon scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Chan scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. That's the most hits Lafon has posted since back in May of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Mills and bumps their season record up to 4-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Aragon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Mills will have a chance to go back-to-back against Aragon: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
