Northridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Latin Romans, posting a 67-40 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Romans are ranked 528th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northridge is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Latin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will host Francis W. Parker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Francis W.
